Love
It was so amazing today that God has once again reveal himself to me through this wonderful sharing by Michelle and Siawtze. There are indeed so many testimonies that made me think that God must be real, especially the faithfulness of some of my friends in their walk with God as well as their passion to do what God wants them to do. It makes me wonder why they can love people so generously and unconditionally, and i'm sure the answer is God.
A lot of the time, people is unwilling to know God because of the evil things that some Christians may have done. Because of that, they had lose their interest in knowing who God is. That is indeed a very sad thing. But wait, there are so many life-changing testimonies that can be seen from Christians. The way they love as well as the way they see life. They live life with a purpose, not for fame, not for money but to glorify God, to share His love to the world, to share the good news to everyone. Their love is so different, they love by sharing with you the love that they had received from God.
Have you ever wonder why are there people who is so desperately wanting to share gospel with you? Have you ever wonder why are there people who would pray for you every morning they wake up? No, they do not only want you to be a good person with all the moral values that are acceptable in the society, they do not only want you to have good health and excellent study, but they want you to know something that is beyond this world, they want you to know the love from the above, to let you know that life is not just a matter of being a good person and helps those in need or having a successful career and a beautiful wife, but life is so much more meaningful with God in our heart, and to love like how Jesus loves us.
Before i came to Perth, I had been calling myself a Christian whenever i was asked about my religious view, but i didn't really know who God is and i wasn't at all a good example of Christian that makes people want to believe in the God that I once told them i believed in. But over the pass 1.5 years in Perth, God has revealed Himself to me who He is and let me know that He is not just a label that i would stick on my forehead and show it around but i must show people how God can transform life. Show them not by words but by actions. God has also showed me how Christians love and bless people around them. I was so amazed by them and what they did has confirmed with me that God must be real to impact them to love people around them. Great bunch of people like Siawtze, Cheahyen, Jesu as well as many other friends, i can see that God are using them. When i first came here, i wasnt that friendly a person to approach to, but i was really amazed that Siawtze took every opportunity to invite me to church and activities. People like Cheahyen, she has such a great passion to reach out to the non-believers. There was once she invited me to a food festival organised by her church, I was at that point of time, busy searching for people to go with me so that i can talk to people whom i was comfortable with. But after that, i realised that her intention was not just to hang around with people whom she already know or enjoy the food that can only be authentically found in Asia, but she was so passionate about knowing new people and trying to bring them to church. I was so amazed. People like Jesu, he is so caring and willing to spend time to talk to his friends, to listen to them and most importantly doing God's work. I'm just so amazed by them...so why, why give up in knowing God because of one Christian that had not been doing good. Come my friend, let's come to know Him, He will reveal himself to you. Our God is so wonderful and He does mighty things. Let Him transform us and lead us. All we need to do is to follow.
